How to Order Embroidered Uniforms for Your Team
Keep the garment list and the artwork decisions together. A complete size list and a clear logo reference reduce the questions that have to be resolved before the order can move into production.
1. Build one accurate garment list
Record each person’s style, color and size, then total by style. Compare product measurements instead of assuming the same label fits across brands or companion garments. Add separate rows for hats and outer layers. Check current availability in the builder.
2. Prepare artwork and placements
Use your original logo file when available. Choose a supported placement, enter either the desired width or height, or ask staff to help size it. Identify small wording, requested thread colors and any different logo versions. Do not stretch the logo to fill a square boundary.
3. Review the complete estimate
Check the item selections, quantities, locations, discount grouping, style-specific handling, production choice, shipping destination and tax. A team with several styles may have different handling outcomes from one large single-style order. Changes after submission may need a revised estimate and approval.
4. Submit for staff review with card authorization
The live checkout authorizes the card; authorization is not the final charge. Staff reviews the garment and artwork request. Watch your order communications for requested corrections or approval steps. Do not treat an initial submission as confirmation that the artwork is ready for stitching.
5. Approve the final proof
Review the final proof in Printavo, checking wording, proportions, placement and colors. Request corrections before approving if something is wrong. After staff confirmation and proof approval, the authorized payment is collected before production. Follow the order-specific instructions if an authorization needs attention.
6. Plan production and transit separately
Standard and available rush production choices are explained in the current policy. The production clock depends on the required payment and proof steps; shipping transit is additional. Share an event date with staff before ordering rather than assuming a selected production option guarantees arrival.
7. Keep a reorder record
Retain the order reference, approved logo version, placements, final dimensions and employee style list. Future orders use current stock and prices. Ask staff about a discontinued style or color instead of substituting a similar name without review.
