Use the style’s size chart

Youth sizes are not consistent across every brand or garment. Compare the manufacturer’s measurements with the wearer’s needs rather than relying only on an age or size label. Check the chart separately when a group combines youth and adult styles.

Keep the design in proportion

A logo sized for an adult garment may take up too much space on a smaller youth item. Staff reviews the available panel and the readability of the artwork before final proof approval. The general non-headwear limit is 4.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches high; the appropriate size on a youth garment may be much smaller.

Coordinate the group before ordering

Confirm the style, color, and size for each person before submitting your order. Check companion styles rather than assuming youth and adult garments with similar names have identical fabrics or colors.

Mixed SanMar styles, colors, and sizes with the same primary logo qualify together for quantity discounts, including scaled versions for hats and shirts. Different primary logos form separate groups.
